So far Dad and I have jack the car, removed the tyre to gain access to the aerial, but it will not come out. We've tried to turning the connection, and pulling nothing is working. Open to ideas.
I'm not familiar with that car but it's not uncommon to have to remove the fender to gain access to replace the antenna. There are replacement masts available that connect to the remains of of your old antenna. Perhaps you can find one that you can use.
