Is it possible to replace the Sony CR laptop internal components with the new EA components? They're two generations apart (give or take), the and the exact same size. I just got a EA laptop, but I much prefer my old CR laptop aesthetically and overall feel-wise. I would like to swap out the new components (ie, motherboard, cpu, ram...etc) of the EA to replace the older ones from the CR, giving it an 'upgrade'.
What i'm concerned about is if the different locations of the ports will have a huge affect, is the old power supply able to handle it, and the screen connection. If you think of anything else that might be affected, feel free to bring it up. Thanks a bunch!
