replace or rebuild a honda transmission?

I'm slowly restoring an 87 honda prelude to its original factory condition. I wouldn't mind changing the transmission to get that new feel to it again and would like to know how much it would cost to rebuild a 87 honda prelude transmission or should I just find a lower kilometer transmission out there somewhere and get that installed. What's the cost difference between the two options? Thanks
