Replace BMW 03 330d sport Crank case breather?

Car is smoking a little when accelerating and after looking at some beemer forums many suggest replacing the crank case breather.
Priced the part at £40 and £50 for fitting at BMW dealership, Any advice? Car has 100k on the clock, its had inspection 2 but paperwork doesnt say anything about it being done before
 
Parts are usually reasonable the labor is kicker especially to do a good job and some companies suggest certain cleaners and oil additives afterwards. 100,000 she is an infant
