every week my crazy neighbors have parties which involve screaming, booms, pounding and jumping around, and crazy laughter. That's all fine and dandy, but we are in an apartment complex and last night it went until 5 am. I was upset so i called the local police to enforce the noise violation. The police came and obviously noticed the noise as well, so they pounded on the door and said to keep it down and not to get them called there again.
obviously this is a warning, but do police have a record in their system so if they do it again next week, they will actually get fined/cited? I hate imagining that i will simply have to call the police to warn them every time they party until 5 am.
thanks guys. I did write them a letter once and that did not seem to help one bit. I then let it go a few more times until last night. I really needed to fall asleep and it was soon time to wake up. Thanks, and next time i will call the police again as welll
