I just received a black wooden dining room table with black chairs from a neighbor. The set is sturdy and in good condition other than it has some scratches. I'm needing advice on how to repair it...I'm kind of excited about working on it! Some scratches are small and in other places it looks like the paint has been chipped. Should I repaint the whole set? I read somewhere about "sanding down" the scratches...is this something I need to do? Any advice on where to get supplies is appreciated.
