Repair Question for my 1988 Honda Civic. ?

I recently had the radiator hose come off on my Honda Civic. Upon further inspection I noticed that the part that the hose attaches to on the radiator is broken and missing a piece. Due to this fact the hose will not attach. I the piece is part of a long plastic piece that is as long as the radiator it self. It appears that this is a seperate piece from the radiator and it looks like it is a fairly easy repair if I have the right part.

My Question is this: Does anyone know if this is a seperate piece that i can replace or do i need to replace the radiator. I am hoping that the radiator does not need to be replaced or the car will be getting a one way ticket to the junkyard. Please Help I need my car
 
You know what? as many as I have seen broken, I WISH that it was not one piece with the radiator tank, but it is. If you drain the radiator, stuff some paper towels inside that hose outlet area and made the entire area clean and bone dry, since it is plastic, you can do a successful repair with some really good permatex slow cure epoxy glue (two part mixed).
You will have to get the inside, the crack itself, and the outside completely covered with the premium epoxy. keep a clamp on it overnight with a blow dryer from a distance on low, or maybe a heater. The part should be well fused and probably last a while, but I would still replace it eventually. While curing the glue, keep a clamp on it. put a tiny bit of white hose grease (lithium) on the inside of the hose for ease of installation.

If this don't work, well then we gave it our best, you do need a new one though as I said
