repainting a alloy bike frame?

i want to repaint my bicycle frame but my problem is my primer coating i dont know what should i use for primer. its a 100% alloy i ask the paint store but they are not sure if the metal primer will do at my alloy frame. Can anybody tel me what primer should i use to my alloy frame , does the metal primer will do?
