I am considering hiring a new property manager in a city where I have a 5-plex because my current manage is leaving the town. I live far from this city around 3 hours drive.
I received a name and number of someone. I spoke with the guy he sounds nice but I still did not get his references that I asked him to send. Should I insist he provides few names and contact numbers of real estate investors who work with him/who hired him to work for them? should email recommendations or thank you letters he got from clients, be acceptable by me too instead of phone numbers of people I can call?
