I have a drain on my battery which is happening even when the car is turned off and locked.
I've had the problem checked at a local garage and they identified the problem as the Pre-Heater Module, I had the garage replace this and they told me the car was fixed, I paid for the work and took the car home, the next day the car was flat again and this has nor rectified the problem, I contacted the garage to advise them of this and they are adamant that the work has been done, apparently they have not used the correct codes-? (Not sure what that part means).
My question is what is the trade price for this part? I am taking my car to two in-dependant garages to check if the work has actually been done and if not I will be contacting trading standards.
