I living in a rental property (basement Suite) and I am moving. The landlords want the dish removed. Last time I climbed a ladder, I fell off, so I am not the best person to take it down and and make repairs to the house as requested by the Landlords. Anyone know if Bell does this since they are the one who installed it...

BEV might do it for a price, but I wouldn't get them involved. Hire a handyman that isn't scared of heights. ;)

Tell Bell your moving, this way they will install a new dish at your new home. Then pay a local teen $20 to take the old one down.

Or try putting an ad on craigslist, offering a free dish, if it is removed....

If you call BEV to hav it removed they will charge you 75$ for it...

They will install a new dish and THE FIRST RECEIVER free of charge...any additionnl line they un in, or any additionnal receiver they installed will be charged 50$ each

Have you tried asking a nieghbor if they can take it down for you? Should take all of 5 minutes or less. Have a socket and tar or whatever ready along with the ladder up and I'm sure someone would do it for you. I know if someone knocked on my door and asked me I would have no problem doing it for them for free.

I live in Edmonton. Whoever helps me needs to bring their own ladder and tools...I asked some neibours and they said no...
