Removing junk files

I have the Sony Ericsson W580i, provided through Rogers. There are some junk files on the phone that I can't seem to delete (they won't appear on my computer after hooking it with USB, and when I try to delete them in the phone, it says "file cannot be deleted", something to do with copyright or whatever). These files are 100% junk as they are random noises such as a baby crying, loud honk, etc. I think they are template effects used when the phone was created or something. They are extremely annoying as they pop up in my music playlists randomly and I can't even move them out of the playlist!
Thank you =)

Those would indeed be protected files. The only way to get rid of them, is to remove each file by flashing the phone - which is a little extreme for this issue, not to mention dangerous if you don't known what you're doing. Unfortunately, there's not really another way around this. Most people learn to cope with the files being there. They are frustrating, I know, as up until recent flashing, I had to live with them.

Thank you.
*Sigh* I have no idea why the provider put these files in. Is it to simply annoy the user?? There are so many disadvantages of these branded phones... it's no wonder why all my friends choose to buy their own phones from elsewhere, not the junk phones provided by companies like Rogers.

Thanks also, I was hoping for a solution on the same matter... will have to live with it, I suppose!
