Ok, I put a radio in had it done by some professional. Now I need to take it out ..I took out the bottom panel under the radio. I can see the radio from underneath but it wont budge. Theres this metal bar under it, im guessing that holds in in place. I took out every screw i can find under there and it still wont move. Any suggestions? Google and msn and yahoo suck ..they dont show no images ..just steps and i did those steps ..they said it should slide out the back it wont move ..radio has a removable face ..i took that off too doubt that has anything to do with it ..but im stumped ..
I'll try the screwdriver thing, need to be out tonight ..car was totalled in a wreck ..they picking it up tomorrow ..he didn't put the radio on the claim sheet because i told him i'd take it out ..can I rip out the dash out of the car? its already totalled or will they not like that?

Take it to a professional... alot of aftermarket radio's have "keys" that slide down beside the radio on each side that will release it. This is implemented to reduce theft. (sounds like it's working lol...)

if you don't want to go to a shop you can ussually take a small standard screw driver and pull the locks out of the way it's just about being able to see what your doing. Good luck, hope this helps.
