Removing a turbo kit from a Ford Falcon BA/BF XR6TURBO?

I'm on my P Plates and i want an XR6, however turbos are much better value but as you know in NSW p platers aren't allowed. it is possible to remove the turbo while im on my P's and have it re installed when im off them? or would i be better off getting a N/A BA/BF and putting an aftermarket turbo on it when i get my full license? thanks
