Remove door trim from honda civic?

I have a 99 honda civic and i was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the plastic trim around the edge of the door. I'm talking about the trim that is attached to the car and is around the edge of the opening for the door, not the plastic that is attached to the actual door.
A piece of paper slipped under there and i really need it back. Any other ideas on how i could get it out without removing the trim?
so after i just rip it off, am i going to be able to get it back on?
 
There will, be clips holding it in place. Just force it off. usually dome of the clips break but any motore factor or Honda dealer can supply new ones.
