We have two Sanyo GVR-S955 (VCRs) that we use for educational purposes. However, today, a tape got jammed in the deck during normal use. The tape was inserted, and just would not play or eject. Although this type of product is obsolete, it was very expensive (at the time purchased) and, since it is school property, needs to be fixed. Would anyone know the following:
1) A way to remove the tape (we can take apart the unit to an extent)
2) A manual for the VCR (no, Sanyo does not have one on their website)
3) A reason why this would happen (could the VCR not be functioning properly due to aging? The product, I believe, was released in 1993)
