I had spinal fusion a year ago. I don't like the screws in my back, I am limit to exercise, I can lie straight on my back, without having pain when trying to get up. I can not run, or twist very good. My doctor says he can remove them and I want them out. What are the complications of removing them? Is the surgery just like when they were put in? Will I have walking problems? Will I be able to twist again or go on a ski machine at the gym again or run again if they remove the screws?
