Remote Help Please

I have 2 Bell receivers a 3100 and a 5900PVR.

I bought off ebay 2 DishNet remotes 8.0 UHF pros. The listing stated it would control most Bev receivers in IR mode. I don't need the UHF for the 5900.

I have looked everywhere on how to program them but no luck whatsoever. The TV power button works my Sony TV's but that is it.

Are these remote capable of working my receivers or was I duped?

I believe you got the wrong remote. You should have gotten either the 5.x IR remote or the 6.2/3 IR/UHF remotes.

Have a read through this

You may be able to program the stb's using the aux button on the remote.
 
I had the information in the second link already but thanks for your input. I should have included that in my first post.

By the looks of the first link - I am outa luck.
