I have a Nokia 3250 and I wanted to know if there were any programs out there that could do a remote desktop type connection for Symbian S60v3... Kinda like ControlFreak does for S60.

All I want to do is see my computer's screen on my phone, and control funtions like clicking with the mouse and moving the mouse, etc etc....

Any and All information would be greatly apreciated. TIA

There are currently 2 programs that I know of, Sailing clicker and Bluetooth Remote Control. There is also an open source effort called Bemused but even though it installs I haven't got it to work yet and it seems more oriented towards music control.

Personally, I hate the bluetooth remotes because bluetooth is highly prone to disconnects and also has a weak range.

If you got a WiFi capable phone, I'd suggest a VNC client for your phone such as the one from Shape Services

or a free one like this http://sourceforge.net/projects/symvnc/ (however it didnt work, but i didnt try much since i had the Shape Services working already)

and all you need for your PC is a generic VNC server like UltraVNC http://www.uvnc.com/index.html

Actually, the three top freeware VNC servers are listed at the bottom of the Shape Services page I linked.

RDM+ Remote Desktop for Mobiles works great. Wa susing it with my E61 and it worked flawlessly. Its a java app so compatible with pretty much all the phones.

There is a demo if you want to try it

Screenshots on E61 when I had it
