remote 9200 code for HDTV

Have a ASTAR LTV 32PRM ( This unit is supposedly made by Sharp for Astar) Trying to get the remote to recognize to turn on/off.

Right now must turn TV on/off by ASTAR remote, and control the volume by this remote also.

No problem getting sat with 9200 remote, and getting channels OK.

Have gone through the code listings in the 9200 book without success.
Tried the code 500 with Hmmm service rep... but he gave up on me, just politely left me in hang-up mode.

Any one know where I can get the ASTAR code Number for Direct Dish as they should be same as Expressvu.
 
I'm using the 521 code to control a Sharp LC-32D62U television. If the codes are the same that might work.

Yes I tried 521, and all the numbers in the 500 series, one after the other without any results? Than tried the few listed in 9200 manual for the 600,700 series.

Press the TV button until all led light up, press the code number , wait for the led to flash three times, try shutting down the TV with the TV button, without any success.

Tried the code #222 which I found on the internet for Sharp default, and supposedly the up channel button, negative results.

Tried the code 500 and press the up channel, for search, no results.

will go to Dishnet site and try there.

Appreciate your input. Any other Ideas.

Three remotes to activate viewing is not the way to go.

1. Turn on SAT with BEV remote
2.TV with ASTAR remote
3. sound adjust with ASTAR or Amplifier remote.

With 12 year old grandchildren, and Why GranPA? Picky to say the least.
 
If you can't get the 9200 remote to work, suggest you invest in a Harmony (or similar) programmable remote.
