'Remember Me' In Cinemas now.

I wasn't fussed either way to see this film a few weeks back as I really cannot be doing with the over-hyped Robert Pattinson. BUT a few days ago I realised that putting all the 'new moon' stuff aside, he is a good actor, so that didn't worry me about seeing the film so much.

I havn't seen it, but am planning too, but I was wondering what's the backstory of the film? Is it based on a book? Is it a new screenplay.

And for those who have seen it, is it good? I bet there's a sad ending to it :(

Thanks :) I heard that it is quite a dark movie, with a dark background to the characters stories too. Is it true about

The twin towers being seen at the end?

I don't mind a good spoiler :)

I saw this film last week ,I thought it was good ,Robert Pattinson is excellent and yes it is quite a dark movie.
And yes its true.

I saw it today and can't understand why people are slating Robert Pattinson. He acted his socks off in this and blew me away. I was really impressed, and I'm not an obsessive RPatz fangirl by any means. I thought the whole cast were very good and the story was quite deep and moving. It's far from a teeny bopper fluff piece and I can't see how anyone can describe it as such.

Am I right in saying this is the one about Jeff Buckley? I'm sure he was meant to be in a biopic about him, and I'm sure it was called Remember Me...but it doesn't seem to be promoted as the Jeff Buckley story...Maybe I'm completely wrong. :D

To be honest i think the film was saved by the ending. Up until that it was just another film with nothing special.
Saw that Pattinson was a producer on this also, fair play!!

I liked it a lot very well acted not just by Pattinson by De Ravin from Lost and also Oscar Winner Chris Cooper.

It's also the first movie this year that made me cry, the ending is a complete shock and the begining is quite shocking as well

Watched this earlier, R-Pattz acted brilliantly, as did Emilie, I cried the whole way through it and even though the ending was a bit random it had me crying uncontrollobly. I'm miserable now, it was so sad.

at the time i totally didnt see it coming, but then i went to see it a second time (im not rob obsessed just a great film neeRAB to be seen twice) and once you know there are loaRAB of moments where its obvious whats coming. Like the film they see at the cinema etc

I think its great storytelling that you dont notice these things till the end. Loved the film more than i thought i would.

I read another review where it said the ending was the worst, most contrived thing ever thrown into a movie. It certainly sounRAB it to me. Now, I like Emilie de Ravin but can Robert Pattinson do anything other than look constipated?? If that's what teenage girls like maybe I should have...taken more Immodium when I was younger...

I saw the trailer and my opinion is that the film look's rubbish. But i read a review that said the ending was random and shocking. What happened in the ending of the film then ?
