Religious Believers - Why do most of you refuse to use logic when discussing religion?

I find it frustrating debating people who are probably very Intelligent on many levels, but when it comes to their religion they seem afraid to use logic. For example the Bible does have some very illogical verses(I believe). Two of the ones I really have issues with are killing 42 children for calling someone baldy, and stoning women to death for being raped. There are many more that seem illogical to me, like Adam being created from dirt and Eve from a rib, how do you fit all the species of the world with supplies on a small boat(Noah's Ark), why it is OK for humans to be owned by other humans? God created day before he created the sun, a virgin birth etc... None of these make sense to me. I find these in the Bible in plain English. Why do I find these things illogical, but all followers of the Bible except these as facts, and tell me I am wrong for not believing without any "logically" explanations to my concerns?
For the first response...perfect example of not knowing the Bible. 2 Kings 2 verses 2:23 - 2:24. Again the example is just based on the Christian Bible, but I find other religions have similar illogical thinking. Believing in something that has no evidence or even makes sense alone is very illogical.
Some but I hate the Bible and that is illogical. I want to know the truth, but no one hear can answer properly. These are from the Bible, not a book attacking the Bible or me. Please help me understand why you believe in this book that is so illogical, or do you believe women and children should be killed for illogical reasons?
Someone made a comment on evolution...that is a science issue not religious issue, and please get the facts straight, we did not evolve from apes, evolutionists say we have a common ancestor. Please research before you comment.

The stoning is no longer in affect Jesus came and changed it so that would no longer be acceptable in Christianity he stepped in when a woman was about to get stoned and saved her.

If you believe in a God can can create the whole universe and everything in it then you must believe he can create a man with just his breath and a woman out of the man.

The ark many animals died that is why they are extinct and lots could swim so no need for the ark the ark was massive with room for lots of animals once again if you believe in God then he has power to control the animals to not eat each other lol.

Slavery was not exactly that the slaves got paid and feed and a roof over their heads it was a different time and Jesus also changed that when he said no master is greater then there servant.

A virgin birth is a miracle Just that simple if God is real and i believe so then he can do a miracle.
