Many people say that the root cause of wars and lack of world peace is religion and that if there is to ever be world peace religion would have to be eradicated and "lost"
BUT i think that is a far too simple idea. Religion is an easy target and its easy to blame it for creating wars....
Do you think if religion was eradicated (just go along with the idea even if that in itself is impossible) the world would find peace? I don't think it would...
If you look at animals they live in groups / herds and have a pecking order... everyone knows what dog-eat-dog means / implies, everyone knows about Alpha dog.... the one who wants to dominate... peacocks strut round displaying plumage.... lots of animals fight and kill each other, within their own species as well as across species... BUT none of them pray or follow any sort of religion!
