We have a Fiat Punto and its going into the garage every other month for something doing at minute. We want something different. We have a small budget of £1500 and are looking for a nice little car. The thing at the top of our list is reliability, followed by cost. We are looking at a Ford Ka, Ford Fiesta, Renault Clio..something like those. Any advice.....?

Avoid Fords. Follow that advice and you cant go wrong.

Added to that, get some tools and learn how to repair a car yourself. You will save a considerable amount of money.

With all due respect, the cars you listed are crappy. F.O.R.D. = Found On Road Dead. Renault is cool but finding parts can be a hassle and costly because nobody really drives them anymore. Look into a Toyota, Honda or Nissan. Good gas millage, cheap parts. Put oil in the thing every few years and they just run! Honda Accord would be my first choice then Civic.

Hi!!

I have Skoda Fabia...now i know what ur thinking..its a skoda...but by this point because its an x eg its owned by volkswagen.

Its a nice car, cost me £1200 for X reg comfort 1.4 litre model and im a student so it is very good with petrol because i never have loads of money but i can afford to keep it goin etc Never had a problem with it too

However, the cars u have suggested are all very good, reliable cars too
