how reliable is a honda civic like how many miles it can take before it craps out on you. and how many miles per gallon do they get on in town driving. is it a good car to get i am looking at ones from 1993 to about 1998 somewhere in that range of year.

Hondas are extremely reliable cars as long as you take care of them. Accords will last you longer than a civic will, they're just a better car. I drive a '98 Accord Ex that has 260,000 miles and we just sold our '01 Odyssey Ex that had 330,000 miles on it. Mpg on that car should be upper 20's low 30's depending on how old it is. It's a good car but be sure to get it checked out before you buy it because a lot of places will sell you a turd that's about to fall apart.

honda by far is the best car manufacture in terms of reliability, the car will easily go above 60,000 miles before anything craps out on u. however if u drive it sensible nothing will 'crap' out on u, iv got a honda jazz and its done 45k and its still going great, never had any problems with it.
