Relationship: Boyfriend about to go to boot camp. HELP!?

Hey. So here's the deal: my boyfriend and I have been dating for about a year and 6 months. Our relationship is pretty serious, we have very strong feelings for each other. I honestly think we love each other. Anyways, he's a senior and just turned 17 in October 2009 and I am a freshman, 14 going on 15 in a couple months but I look older and am more mature than people my age. Right after graduation he will be headed to boot camp for the USMC. We will most likely still be together when that time rolls around. We plan to write each other and talk whenever possible. During boot camp they have Family Day, and at the end of the 3 months they have the graduation. He wants me to go to both of those days and my parents have no problem taking me. (Although, they think him and I are just reaaally good friends. lol) I would love to go to these days to see him and if there is a future us i would feel bad missing it. But these are my questions....

1. Since our age differences, do you think that people might think that it is inappropriate for me to come? (Keep in mind that I look and act older than 14/15)
2. Would I be considered 'family' for Family Day?
3. What would I do if we were in the situation that someone asked if I was his little sister? What would I say or do?
4. Is this just completely stupid and I'm just being paranoid or whatever?

This probably seems stupid that I'm asking this on here but I can't ask my peers because they haven't been in this situation and they wouldn't understand. If you can, please help. Your help will be greatly appriciated.(:
