I've been given a project to determine a common theme or element between Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and a current (within the past 50 years) event that is properly recorded and has the ability to be researched. I've been through about a handful of ideas (Hurricane Katrina, the tsunami, etc.) and I really can't come up with anything. It cannot be autobiographical in nature, and I'd like to note that this is NOT a research paper. It's a compare and contrast essay that I need a little help getting started with.
