Just joined because I need some advice and I would greatly appreciate anyone's input...About two years ago I had a big zit between my eyes that I popped and would continually pick off the scab everytime it came back(I know, durab)...Eventually the pink skin turned back to normal in a couple months and everything looked great..Then I accidentally scratched the same area really bad two months, and the basic outline of that initial scabbed turned bright red again (but no bleeding at all or anything, just redness) It's been about two months since that happened, it was red for a month despite a cortisone shot, then for about a month up until now there have been little whitish/yellow sticks growing in there on top of the red bed and sloughing off occasionally, and some areas are getting back to normal slowly but still showing initial scab outline... I put Neosporin and Vitamin E on it at first, but recently I've been just staying away from it as to not irritate it/mess up progress already made...Any advice/similar experience with reinjuring an old wound? Sorry for the long post but I really need some help. Thanks for anything!
