Hello! I have 2 great trial bikes, and a great mountain bike for winter commuting....however in the summer, none of those are close to efficient....I have however gotten my hands on a low profile road bike which I will upgrade the parts on and so on...it is used, so it isn't costly to me....however I am unsure how it will handle my weight....and good methods to reinforce the frame?
I am not trying to make it high end....It is a solid norco frame from the 80's....however that said, I am 6"5 with an unavoidable weight as such...I am just using it for the morning commute and wondering how to get the most out of my $15 investment
Yeah....thats a good point...I haven't notice any structural issues yet anyways....I was just a little antsy, as I am very used to riding trial and dirt jump frames....which is a very sturdy frame.... I will just adjust my riding style accordingly on the way to work
