Regarding upgrades for sprint phone...?

Hello I have the original sprint rumor cell phone which I've had for two years on the 31st of this month... Does sprint offer any upgrades? My contract is up on the 31st and I'm wondering what I can get without resigning a contract... I'm thinking about getting an ipone instead... any suggestions/information?
