regarding threaded holes in engine block on a 3.0 liter dodge?

I am installing a water pump and timing belt on a 1994 Dodge Caravan with the 3.0 liter engine, The air conditioning doesn't work so I am removing the compressor. What I really want to know is do the threaded holes in the engine block that hold the compressor bracket go all the way through the engine block? If they do then I obviously will have an oil leak.Can anyone help with this one? Thank you in advance.
