I'm REALLY trying to understand how a JW can see a separate "god" that is of the essence of God, even being possible?
Why don't they understand that the entire OT goes on and on and on about how there is only ONE God, ONE divine being... and therefore, regardless of whether they want to translate this as "a god", "the same essence as God","divine", or "God" ... it ALL is indicative that John was telling us that the Word was THE GOD in the OT?
Can anyone explain why they think that satan is actually of the essence of a god, and not just a false idol god as stated in 2 cor 4:4 ?
Surely they understand that GOD is the GOD of the world and satan is NOT... but that some people merely put other things ahead of God and that makes satan elevated as a false idol "god"?
Isaiah 43:10 makes it clear that there is only ONE GOD that has ever been formed. There is NONE like Him... no one else with the essence of God. Isaiah 46:9
