I have 2009 Yamaha Star 250 which I really like except for one thing. If I do not let it warm up until the engine is running smoothly it runs like crap even on warm days. I would get great gas milage if it were not for this as it usually takes about 5 minutes to warm up. Is there some way to get it to run properly without taking so long to warm up. My local dealer says this is just the way it is for this particular bike as it is air cooled. He said water cooled bike don't have this problem.
