Reg. T Call question?

I bought some April 2011 35 USO calls and sold some Feb. 2011 29 SLV puts. I am up on the cash-secured SLV puts and down on the USO calls. I recently upgraded my IRA account to be able to trade option spreads (have a qualified margin account - I was told that I would not be able to borrow any money though since it is a retirement account). The above trades are not spreads. They were placed on Friday. Monday, I received a Reg. T Call on the account. It doesn't make any sense, since I have the cash in my account for these trades and did not borrow anything. I also have the money in case the puts are exercised and I receive SLV shares. What is going on?
Strange. After staying up late to attempt to research this, I checked my account again, after midnight. The Reg. T Call is no longer shown on my account. Did my brokerage somehow realize that I do have enough money in my account to cover these trades? Why was it there in the first place?
