Refusion Surgery

I want to learn if anyone in this online back forum has ever had to have there Disk's refused?:wave: My L3 did not take but is causing a lot of pain inI believe S1L5 area. My surgery is scheduled for middle of October.
 
Yes, I had my L5-S1 re-fused and it fused totally. I wish you lots of good luck.

Had my L4, L5, S1 fused and cracked it a couple years later in an industrial accident. Had it refused without success. Of course this was in the mid 1970's when the first fusion had a 25% chance of success and a second fusion, a 10% chance. If the doc really feels it will work, I'd give it a try.

I'm in the same boat but a little behind u. I just found out my L2-L3 did not fuse and now the cord is bulging into the laminectomy. I'm waiting to hear from the doc.
