Reflux and tonsil problems

Has anyone else with LPR, had some problems with their tonsils? I'm trying to work out whether my tonsil issues, are a symptom of LPR or a seperate problem. Ever since I developed reflux, my tonsils have been a bit red and swollen. I've also noticed holes in them that weren't there before, and have experienced some tonsil stones (possibly the most disgusting thing ever!). they also seem to bleed on occasion, and I think some of the mucus that is constantly in my throat, is coming from my tonsils. Could LPR be causing these problems? Please let me know your thought/experiences! Thanks :)
 
yes that can definately happen. I am finding a new thing happen that I am not sure if it is related to the reflux or not. On my left side of my throat down in where I can't see, it feels like there is a lump or growth in there. Sometimes it feels tight or swollen. It just below my chin if you push in on the tonsil area. Have you ever had that happen?
