Ok,lets see right outta high school I joined the army. Needless too say I wasn't ready for it,alot going on at home my mind wasn't tottally ready for what was too come. So I was given my discharge papers. Now my memory is a bit foggy but I thought that when I was given the papers they said cause I didn't even get a chance to go to basic. ( Was held up in reception) that after a few years I could reenlist no questions asked. Looks like it might not be the case. I was given a RE:3 with seperation code JFV. Does anyone know if it is the case were after 5 years its no longer in the system? Or am I gonna need a waiver. I really wanna join the navy (what I should have done the first time) But from the sounds of it not looken good. Just curious if anyone could help before I go too a recruiter. Thank you.
