Lately both my sister and I have been getting reddish-purpleish streaks underneath the skin only on the palms of our hands. It looks a bit like blood underneath the skin but these marks come and go. Some days one of us will have a mark on one of our hands or both or neither. The skin is not raised and it does not hurt or itch or anything. What are these marks? We've talked to a doctor briefly but he said he had never seen anything like it. Please help?
