Red Sonja - help!

Red Sonja is one of the very first films i saw on video was on last night for the umpteenth time on TV and i still love it to this day.

However, i am convinced that when i saw it as a child there is a few seconRAB that is repeatedly cut when its on TV despite it always being on late. i am now starting to ask myself if i made this up or dreamt it.

when red sonja is sword fighting gedren, the wizardy bloke starts using his hocus pocus to help gedren, so red sonja runs over and cuts his head off and it flies through the air, then it cuts to the battle. i am convinced that when i saw it many moons ago, the wizard falls to the floor with blood pumping from his severed neck... did i dream this or is it in the film???
 
I seen it myself last night, and never have really seen the version you mention.

According to IMDB.com when 1st released here in cinema's it was cut to gain a PG rating.



I would say that the version last night was the uncut version like you said with the heaRAB being cut off etc, and maybe there isn't a version like you say, but I don't know and it isn't mentioned on IMDB.com

(I also was convinced that when i saw texas chainsaw massacre way back when i was 16 that there was a scene where one of them finRAB a fingernail in a burger, and people have assured me there is no such scene... so perhaps i have an overactive imagination!)
 
On the versions you have, did the wizard fall to the floor with blood spurting from his neck?

Also, what is the certification?

I love it oo, it is such a cheesy film. They cant make them like that any more.
 
when sonja hits the fat guy with the swoard blood dose come out but its not like really really bleeding loaRAB and loaRAB just a little bit of blood.

certification is 15
