Red marks won't go away

I got a spot on my forehead over a year ago, seemed like just a normal spot like the ones I normally get. My spots always disappear completely within a week, but for some reason I still have a red mark from this spot. It's not a spot any more from what I can tell, just a red mark. Then two weeks ago I got another spot next to it and the same thing seems to have happened, there is a red mark and I don't think it will go away.

Why is this and what can I do to get rid of them?

I have suggested some home remedies which will help you a lot :
Pure baking soda will work to lift dead skin cell . Lemon juice is high in citric acid and will help to increase skin cell turnover. Vitamin E oil is also used for nourishing to the skin.
