Red Mark On Right Arm

Hi, just joined here, a little worried about this red mark that appeared on my right arm about a week and a half ago, well it started as a small red mark, and started getting bigger. its also now flaky, does itch a little, and can bleed a little if you try squeezing it hard. it doesnt seem to be getting any bigger though :).

also i apply mustard oil to it sometimes, i took a picture of it.

Any idea Guys, im just hoping its not melanoma, Thanks

There is only one way to insure that the mole is not a melanoma, or any other type of skin cancer and that is to go to a dermatologist and have them take a look and possibly do a punch biopsy.
 
Hi I would not apply mustard oil on it which could irritate this and I would get it checked with a professional as the other poster has suggested.
 
ok thanks all, will do that, btw does anyone know if melanoma goes away, or stays permanantly on the skin ?
 
Hi in my understanding a melanoma is something that can spread to other places and will likely stay and even enlarge unless some form of treatment takes place.
