Red Light Flashes??!!!!?

So I come to an intersection with a flashing red light with a camera on top. Flashing red of course means stop and then proceed when clear and with caution, i came to a stop and waited for a little traffic to pass by and i slowly proceeded to turn left and as i look at the camera it Flashes!!!??? Why?! I was doing everything right, I came to a stop, I was in the left turn lane, I even turned slow, so why did the camera flash? I don't want a ticket for something I didn't do wrong
