Red Flashing Roof Beacon?

I know security response cars are allowed red lights as apose to the simple orange, what are the rules and regs on these, are you just allowed the roof beacon or can you have front flashing red strobes?
It's going on my rapid response security car though and I've seen Security Vehicles with Red Lights on the Roof

You cannot show a red light on the front, or to the front, of a vehicle whether it flashes or not.
