I just bought this DVD player and was wondering if it's a HD one? as it comes with a HDMI cable, and says 1080p upscaling on the box, but doesn't mention about HD or anything.
It is most likely just an upscaling one - using digital processing to make your dvds look more like they are at hd resolution (adding extra pixels) - not as good as hd, and it won't play hd-dvds or blu-ray, but it will make your dvds look better.
