red acrilic paint?

I need red acrilic paint but I don't want to drive all the back in to town. I have white and I was thinking if I added red food coloring, if that will work?

Or, does anyone have any suggestions?
 
this will probably just give you pink, but if you have some gel or gloss medium that would work better than the white.
 
red food color WILL give you pink- sorry to say, I cant think of a good solution for ya
