Hi,
I am a 34 yr old woman who has been a relatively healthy individual up to 4 months ago. Ever since then I have had so many health related issues. The last one of which is involuntary muscle movement / joint jerks that only happens at night. Like an electric shock that occurs everywhere in my body including my face, trunk, arms and etc.
They wake me up every 4-10 minutes. I have been taking sleeping medications + Parkinson's disease medications for a while.
I was involved in so many stressful factors for the last 2 years. My new job also involves a lot of stress + physical activities (pushing and pulling machinery's). I lost 16 pounds without any diet. My doctor has measured all the vitamins including magnesium + calcium + Potassium + Blood cell count + iron and etc. Nothing came out abnormal....My neurologist has suggested that I should take an 8 weeks leave of absent from my job. My sleep specialist thinks I have Restless Leg Syndrome all over my body.
Here is my question: If the stress/physical activities is the cause of an affliction, would you think eliminating the cause would actually help the symptoms? Do you know of anyone amongst your firends/families whom has actually been afflicted with an illness and eliminating stress has helped the person recover from the illness?
