I'm trying to record a song I wrote about my best friend and I growing up and how much I appreciate her. The problem is the only thing I have to record with is a digital camera, which makes my guitars all sound funny. I tried using different 6-string guitars and a twelve string guitar, and they all sound different than they do in person. I've tried using different picks as well. Also for recording space, I don't have anywhere that keeps the sound good, just my living room and bedroom to use really. When we recorded stuff for a school project, that the electronic music teacher at school recorded for us, he set up barrier like things around us, he said it would help the sound, but I don't have anything like that here. How do I fix this problem to make my guitars sound normal? Any help is greatly appreciated.
