I was trying to reset the password for my linksys router so I used the directions from this yahoo's answer:

At first it seemed like it worked, the network name showed up in my airport list (I'm using a Macbook.. I dont know if that matters), but then all of a sudden the network disappeared. I tried manually typing in the network name and entering the password that I had made but it is saying that it is invalid. I called linksys, who said they were going to help me reconfigure the router, but it would cost $40. I'm really trying to avoid paying this fee, can anyone help me figure out how to reconfigure the router??
P.S. I can't get access to 192.168.1.1, since the router is not working.. is it possible at all to reconfigure it?
