Recipe for a good chunky (not soupy) salsa?

Bear in mind that I've never made salsa before, so don't get too tricky on me, LOL!

I recently had some store-bought salsa from the fridge section that was fresh, and was mostly the veggies rather than all soupy and mushy. Anyone have a decent recipe for something like this? I'm looking for a mild salsa; I'm a giant weenie when it comes to hot spicy food!

Thanks in advance. :-)

I have never met anyone who had an actual recipe for salsa, most people just throw ingredients into a bowl and mix it up. A basic salsa is tomatoes, onion, peppers and usually cilantro

These are the basic recipes you need:

Tomatoes (2-3) - use fresh tomatoes (not canned), cut in half and squeeze out the seeds and all the juice, then dice them into small pieces.

Onion - small (if it's big, just use half) - chopped

Garlic - one or two cloves - minced

Cilantro - a handful - chopped

Salt - add to your liking.

it's super simple! Good luck!
