Recently diagnosed with Double Aortic Arch at 37, what symptoms are related?

I am 37 and was recently diagnosed with a Double Aortic Arch while pregnant with my 3rd child. I have always had many medical issues. At 6 weeks old I was diagnosed with pyloric stenosis and underwent surgery. Growing up I struggled with breathing, swallowing and choking problems. I was very inactive due to pain, breathing problems, and lack of energy. My diagnosis was asthma. I lived a very limited childhood and was never able to participate in sports and such. As an adult, the problems persisted, actually getting worse. I have also had extreme fatigue. I have also had spinal fusion in my neck, after which I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Now at 37, by complete fluke through a complicated pregnancy, my materal fetal specialist found my heart defect. Now I have to find a specialist that has some experience with this in an adult. It is my understanding that this is normally caught in infancy. Does anyone know anymore about this in adults? Could this have been the problem all my life? My Dr thinks it is related to everything I have ever endured, including the Fibromyalgia. His thought is that my body and muscles have not been able to thrive, due to lack of energy and breathing problems. Any suggestions on Dr's in Illinois or St Louis area?
The reason my maternal fetal specialist found this was because I was having chest pain and he ran a bnp blood test. It came back at 500, he said 100 was high. Later I had a CT scan that showed the Double Aortic Arch. So much was going on and I do not remember everything said to me... except that I have to find a Cardiologist elsewhere because the Dr's there had no experience with my defect. They suggested St Louis or Chicago. Days later I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl. Since then I have had tests ran on my 3 children and am awaiting those results. Now I need to find a specialist for myself. Would this defect cause the high BNP test result?
